Alaska's Cape Elias Lighthouse, in a spectacular location 62 miles from the nearest town, is a national historic landmark. The Cape St. Elias Lightkeepers Association, founded in 1997, cares for the 1916 light station. The boathouse has overnight accommodations for 10 people, and special programs and classes are offered.
