Point No Point Lighthouse, Washington

It's just come to my attention that half of the former lighthouse keeper's duplex dwelling at the 1879 Point No Point Light Station on Puget Sound near Hansville, Washington, is available as a vacation rental. The other side of the house serves as the executive offices of the U.S. Lighthouse Society.

Here's some info from the U.S. Lighthouse Society website:

"Come and experience the century old history this unique property has to offer by spending time as keepers of the light. However, unlike the lighthouse keepers of days gone by, you will have no bothersome lighthouse duties to attend to at all hours of the night. Rather, your accommodations will include: a comfortable living room, formal dining area with breakfast nook, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom."

You can read more here and here.

What an incredible opportunity to vacation at a historic property in scenic surroundings, only about an hour from Seattle!
